Remember Loved Ones with a Black Pearl Gift

Your gift helps to bring attention to the Black Pearl Dogs and Cats of the APL

It’s that time again when the APL invites our friends to participate in our Black Pearls year round program. You can send a gift to honor someone (for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, or any occasion), or remember our human and four-legged friends. Supporting this program brings attention to our Black Pearls—those beautiful, lovable black dogs and cats who end up in shelters across the country in disproportionate numbers, and who are statistically more likely to be euthanized than their counterparts.

By giving Black Pearl Gifts, you can honor a loved one, bring attention to the plight of these precious animals, and support the mission of the APL—all at once!

For a donation of $50 or more, we will send your honoree one of these gifts:

• A card stating that a Black Pearl cat or dog will be spayed/neutered in honor/memory of your loved one.
• A two-toned cotton tote bag with the Black Pearl logo on both sides.
• A black lap blanket with the Black Pearl logo embroidered in one corner.
• A photo collage card only - if you do not want any of the gifts sent.

All three gifts will include a letter explaining the Black Pearl program and a picture collage of many of our APL black pearls.

To honor or memorialize someone, fill out the sponsorship form and mail it in along with your donation to the APL, PO Box 5354, Columbia, SC 29250. This is a year-round fundraiser.

With the APL logo on one side and cute caricatures of cats and dogs on the other, these bookmarks are a great gift idea for anyone! Just $3 each, they are strong enough to use ase large paper clips!
